Shih Tzu - Introduction
The Shih Tzu is a breed of dog first
bred in China. They are small dogs, weighing from 9 to 16
lb (7 to 7 kg) according to AKC standards.
The Shih Tzu is a compact and solid dog and
has a rounded head (chrysanthemum-like face) with a short
hairy muzzle. Their coats are typically double-coated, long
and flowing. Shih Tzu's eyes are large, dark and round, placed
apart. They add to the dog's warm and friendly expression.
